GLP-1 Nutrition Guide

The Full-on Nourish GLP-1 Nutri-Support Guide

The 3-Tier Nourishment System that changes as your GLP-1 journey does

Full-on Nourish was specifically developed to help support the often-challenging journey of people using GLP-1 medications.

GLP-1 agonist medications can significantly affect appetite, digestion, and metabolism, meaning the stomach may empty more slowly and satiety signals can remain stronger for longer.

Full-on Nourish was created as a 3-tier GLP-1 nutritional support system — with specific meals for the different stages of your journey, not a one-size-fits-all meal range.

Full-on Nourish helps you take the guesswork out of eating during this journey, with meals designed to support changing nutritional needs.

One journey, three stages:

Tier 1: GENTLE — when eating feels difficult

Tier 2: CORE — when weight loss feels easier, but muscle loss is a risk

Tier 3: FREEDOM — when your hard-earned results must last

Tier 1

GENTLE

When eating becomes difficult

In the early stage, especially during the first 1–12 weeks, GLP-1 medications may lead to that “full, heavy” feeling. Some people may also experience digestive discomfort such as nausea, bloating, diarrhoea, gas, or constipation.

This can result in smaller meals and changing eating habits. A gentle start to your journey, with easier-to-manage, nutrient-dense meals, can go a long way in helping you adapt to your new way of eating.

Gentle is for you if:

  • You get full very quickly and feel uncomfortable after eating.
  • You struggle to finish your food.
  • You experience typical digestive discomfort such as bloating, gas, diarrhoea, or constipation.
  • You want smaller, easier meals that support your nutrition.

The Gentle promise: Soft, lighter meals designed to nourish you gently when your appetite is low.

Tier 2

CORE

Lose the weight, not the muscle

As the core weight-loss phase begins and portion sizes remain smaller, muscle loss, weakness, and fatigue may become a challenge.

Now it becomes important to help meet daily protein, fibre, and micronutrient needs, while keeping sugar, empty carbs, and unnecessary insulin spikes under control.

Research shows that, in some cases, lean mass may make up a meaningful proportion of the total weight lost during GLP-1-supported weight loss. To help support this phase, nutrient density and focused nourishment become essential.

Core is for you if:

  • You are adapted to your new lifestyle and actively losing weight.
  • You want to support muscle maintenance while eating smaller portions.
  • You are focused on protein quality, fibre, and nutrient density.

The Core promise: Nutrient-dense meals crafted with high-quality protein, a carefully designed micronutrient blend, high fibre, and controlled carbs and calories to support your body during active GLP-1 weight loss.

Tier 3

FREEDOM

When results must last

Once you have reached your target goal, freedom is within reach. Freedom to feel good, freedom to eat, freedom to train, and freedom to keep your results.

However, research shows that if long-term lifestyle, eating habits, and activity levels are not maintained, weight regain can become a real challenge after stopping GLP-1 medication.

Freedom is for you if:

  • You have reached your target.
  • You want to protect your results.
  • You need long-term meal solutions that are deliciously crafted with lower carbs and calories, and higher protein and fibre.

The Freedom promise: Balanced, satisfying meals designed to support your new lifestyle.

Full-on Nourish is for you if:

  • The food noise and confusion become too much.
  • The guesswork and planning drive you crazy.
  • You need easy, delicious, convenient nutritional support.

GLP-1 medicine changed how people eat. Full-on Nourish changed how meals are designed.

Smaller appetite should not mean smaller nutrition.

Weight-loss nutrition should not mean guesswork.

Food freedom does not mean giving up on your achievements.

Eat differently. Stay nourished. Change your lifestyle. Change your life.

Questions

GLP-1 meals: your questions answered

When GLP-1 medication shrinks your appetite, the problem stops being how much you eat and becomes what is in the little you manage. Every bite has to carry more. That means prioritising protein and fibre over refined carbohydrates, and eating slowly in smaller portions. Full-on Nourish meals are built to that brief: protein-enriched, high-fibre, vegetable-based staples portioned for a smaller appetite.

Protein needs rise in relative terms on a GLP-1, because you are eating less overall but still need enough to hold onto muscle while losing weight. The right number depends on your body weight, activity and stage of treatment, so it is worth confirming with your dietitian. We cover the practicalities in detail in How Much Protein Do I Need on Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro?

We currently deliver to selected areas in Gauteng and the Western Cape, and we are expanding. Enter your postal code on the home page to check whether your area is covered, or join the waitlist on our delivery page if it is not yet.

No. Full-on Nourish is food, not a treatment. The meals suit anyone eating smaller portions who still needs proper nutrition — whether you are on a GLP-1, coming off one, or simply eating less than you used to.

Gentle is for the early weeks when appetite is lowest and food can feel heavy. Core is for active weight loss, when protecting muscle matters most. Freedom is for holding onto your results afterwards. Your stage is a preference rather than a restriction — you can change it at any time from your account.
